2020 Jeep Gladiator: The Only Open-Air Pickup Truck in Glasgow, KY

Enthusiasts of the Jeep Wrangler have been demanding for a pickup truck for years. Our last taste of a Jeep pickup truck was when the CJ-based Scrambler of yore was sold in the 1980s for a brief time and the Cherokee-based Comanche, which left the market in 1992. Jeep knew that a real mid-size truck could compete with the newest off-road offerings and would pay long-term dividends for the brand.

When Adventure Calls, You're Ready to Haul and Tow

The front half of the JT pickup is just like the JL Wrangler Unlimited. The Gladiator's frame is 31 inches long and they have added 19 inches to the tailgate that allows putting a 5-foot long bed back which can carry as much as 1,650 pounds of payload, with a towing capacity of 7,650 pounds. These two numbers are top in the class for a mid-size 4x4 crew cab car division. Add in versatile truck bed also features under-rail lighting, available spray-in liner, and 115-volt power outlet.

The all-new 2020 Gladiator will be powered by:
  • 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with Engine Stop-Start (ESS) at launch
  • Eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission
  • 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V-6 with ESS and an eight-speed automatic transmission available in 2020

The Most Off-Road Capable Midsize Truck Ever

The Gladiator is available in base Sport, mid-level Sport S, luxury Overland, and off-road Rubicon. They all get third-generation Dana 44 front and rear axles. The now glorious Rubicon trim adds front and rear differential lockers and a 4:1 low range transfer case for unmatched crawl ratios. The off-road, gear-like lockable wide track axles, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and the suspension tuned to optimize on-road handling and ride comfort are unique to the truck.

The best-in-class Rubicon also comes with a few more off-road features such as a front anti-roll bar disconnect, up to 30 inches of water fording, an approach angle of 43.6 degrees and departure angle shallower at 27 degrees. Rock Rails extend to the front of the bed so that there is not much damage in the way down. The Gladiator Rubicon is also available with a forward-facing off-road camera to help you spot the obstructions easily. Packed with over 80 available advanced safety and security features, the new 2020 Jeep is the most capable off-road midsize truck.

Technology and Interior

Polished details and intuitive functionality are remarkably combined in the interior of the All-New Gladiator. Infotainment also is available via a fourth generation UConnect Systems with driver information relayed through a full-color LED instrument cluster. The available largest-in-class 7 or 8.4-inch touchscreen will support both Apple's Car Play and Android Auto. In addition, a removable Bluetooth speaker into the rear of the car and stylish leather-trimmed seats put the Gladiator in a class of its own.
